Solskjaer has insisted his players need time to adjust to his demands and dismissed concerns about the quality and depth in his squad.

United sit eighth in the Premier League after collecting just five points from their four games so far this season.

The Red Devils pocketed £73million from the sale of Romelu Lukaku to Inter and have room on their books for another big earner after the departure of Alexis Sanchez to Italy on loan.
