Saul Niguez wants to move to the Premier League this summer, according to reports.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City as Pep Guardiola continues to search for a midfielder capable of replacing Fernandinho.
However, United have now emerged as suitors for Saul. Citys attentions have reportedly switched to the Spaniards club team-mate, Rodri Hernandez.
The Times claim Saul is keen to leave Spain this summer and wants to ply his trade in the Premier League, opening the door to United signing the Atletico star.
Saul is one of Uniteds top midfielder targets this summer, but the Red Devils will have to fork out a significant fee to land the La Liga star.
The 24-year-old is under contract at the club until 2026, as he signed a nine-year contract with Atletico in the summer of 2017.
United think Saul would fit in nicely in midfield alongside Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.

But, a monster release clause in Sauls contract may be a stumbling block for United.
Sauls buy-out figure stands at £128million, but his desire to move to England may help United drive down the asking price.
