A man suspected of shooting four people dead in a Nashville restaurant has been arrested, police have said.
Police in Tennessee are holding Travis Reinking, 29, following the shooting at a Waffle House restaurant in the early hours on Sunday.
A massive manhunt was launched after the attack, concentrated in and around Antioch, near the Waffle House and also near Reinking's home.
It was in this area that Reinking was arrested just after 1pm on Monday, police said.
Reinking will be charged with four counts of criminal homicide, police spokesman Don Aaron said. First, however, he will be taken to a hospital for a check-up.
He is suspected of killing two people in the car park outside the Waffle House, before opening fire on customers inside the restaurant, killing one and wounding another, who later died.
The gunman, who was described as being naked, had escaped, despite a member of the public tackling him.
The motive for the shooting is not yet clear, police say, and Reinking refused to make a statement after his arrest, immediately requesting a lawyer.
Most of the victims were black but Mr Aaron said he did not know if the shootings were racially motivated.
Police have said the suspect may have mental health problems.
Before the arrest, Mr Aaron had said: "We have a man who has exhibited significant instability."
Last July, Reinking was arrested for unlawful entry after being found in a restricted area near the White House saying he had wanted to set up a meeting with President Donald Trump.

Lieutenant Carlos Lara of Nashville Police said Reinking had been spotted on Monday afternoon by construction workers near where he was arrested.
Reinking had carried a black backpack with a silver semi-automatic weapon and ammunition inside it, Mr Lara said.
