Arsenal have set a £52.5million asking price for Hector Bellerin after Manchester United made an enquiry for his services, reports claim.

The Spain international’s future at the Emirates is unclear, with a host of clubs ready to take advantage of Arsenal’s failure to qualify for the Champions League for a second consecutive season – should they fail to win the Europa League.

Juventus are thought to hold a firm interest in the 23-year-old as they look to strengthen their full-back options in the summer, while his former club Barcelona are also credited with an interest.

However, Arsenal will not let him leave on the cheap and are set to demand £52.5m to let him leave, according to Tuttosport.

Even that fee may not persuade the Gunners to part with the right-back and it will depend on whether the money could be used to significantly strengthen the squad.

Jose Mourinho is keen to add to his Manchester United squad, with full-backs high on the agenda.

A public falling out with Luke Shaw has been well documented but Antonio Valencia’s age is also a concern and Mourinho wants to bring in fresh blood to provide competition on the right hand side of defence.

Bellerin fits the bill, but whether United would be willing to spend so much remains to be seen.
