Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told his Manchester United squad to appreciate the size and magnitude of the club after an open training session in Perth last Thursday.
Over 12,000 fans attended the clubs session at the WACA ground before Uniteds opening pre-season friendly against Perth Glory on Saturday and the 2-0 win was watched in front of 50,000 supporters.
Solskjaer is well accustomed to the global appeal of the club having tasted tours of the far-east during his playing career at Old Trafford but Jose Mourinho insisted on trips to the United States during his time at the club, meaning some members of the squad are yet to sample such levels of fandom.
Trips to the States are low-key compared to tours Down Under and fans queued for four hours to catch a glimpse of Solskjaers squad when they touched down in Western Australia last week, causing one local paper to describe it as a rock star reception.

The likes of Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are sampling their first pre-season tour at the club and Solskjaer was keen to point out the responsibility his players have to repay supporters for their loyalty this season.
