Steve Waugh has named the four players who can lead Australia to World Cup glory at the expense of England.
Australia continue the defence of their World Cup title on Thursday when they face hosts England in the second semi-final at Edgbaston.
Aaron Finchs side secured an emphatic victory over England last month but remain the underdogs ahead of Thursdays knockout game, with the hosts developing into the most successful team in the world since 2015.
Eoin Morgans side only narrowly progressed from the group stage, however, and Waugh believes Australia can move into Sundays final if key players Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Alex Carey deliver.

Its the highest honour, leading the boys out on the field and representing Australia, Waugh told Sky Sports. When thats taken away, its going to have some impact.

You can just see Steve struggling to find his form a little bit. But he is a big match player and the one thing about Steve Smith is that every time someone writes him off, he does well.
So I expect him to do well in the semi-final. He hasnt been at his best and hes an emotional sort of guy, so it will affect him a lot, whats been going on with the crowd noise.
He seems a bit fidgety at the moment. So he just needs to calm down a little bit, 10 per cent, and hell score runs.

I think Cummins and Smith are the two guys that, if they can lift it in the semi-final, Australia can win the World Cup.
Waugh also heaped praise on Starc, the leading wicket-taker at this World Cup with 26 scalps, and influential wicketkeeper-batsman Carey.
Weve got quality in the side and Mitchell Starc does lead the way, the former batsman added. He is a match-winner, particularly at the death, bowling those yorkers at 150k per hour.
Its very difficult for batsmen to keep them out. Look at the last World Cup final – New Zealand tried to take him on and lost a load of wickets, so youve got to be careful against a guy like that.
