Sydney FC have lined up some high-calibre pre-season opposition, with the A-League champions set to face Paris Saint-Germain next month in China.
The Sky Blues will meet the French giants in Suzhou – about 100km north-west of Shanghai – on July 30 as part of PSGs tour of China, which will also take in friendlies against Inter Milan and Stade Rennes.

It comes very early in Sydneys preparations for the new season, which wont begin until October, but coach Steve Corica still plans to use a full-strength squad for what looms as a serious test against a star-studded side that features the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Angel Di Maria and Edinson Cavani.
“It will be a fantastic experience for our players to be lining up against such world class opposition and great preparation as we prepare to defend our A-League crown,” Corica said.

“Every player wants to test themselves against the worlds best and they dont come much better than the players at PSG.
“Nevertheless, our boys will be ready to prove that they can match it against the worlds toughest teams.”
