Mbappe went off injured during Frances win over Uruguay holding his shoulder, with fears the forward had dislocated his shoulder.
Liverpool travel to Paris on 28 November with their Champions League hopes in the balance after defeat to Red Star Belgrade in their last European outing.
An injury to Mbappe would be a major boost to Liverpool with PSG also sweating over the fitness of Neymar.
But French outlet RMC claim Mbappe was assessed by the French medical team and was deemed to have suffered a bruised shoulder.
It means Mbappe should be passed fit when he returns to Paris and will be in line to play some part against Toulouse on Saturday.
PSG cannot afford to lose against Liverpool and the Mbappe news will be a major boost to the French side.

Neymar too went off injured playing for his country, limping off in the first half against Cameroon.
But the Brazil attacker revealed after the game the injury was not cause for alarm.

Brazils team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said Neymar would need a scan to determine the extent of the groin problem.
He came off complaining of pain, Lasmar said. He felt a discomfort, he will need a bit more time to evaluate it and take a scan, but in principle, it is not a serious injury.
