Jose Mourinho insists he still has an excellent relationship with both Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial despite reports of friction between the Manchester United boss and his players.
Pogba has been linked with a shock move to Barcelona after supposedly falling out with Mourinho over the sides tactics last season, while he was also mystified by comments from his manager about his performances at the World Cup.
Martial, meanwhile, was criticised by Mourinho for not returning to the United States for the clubs pre-season tour after the birth of his second child.

On Pogba specifically, he continued: He arrived on Monday, happy, proud, with desire to work. He worked amazingly well on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hes one of the players I need to speak to to see how physically and mentally strong he feels. Its the same conversation that Im going to have with Young, Fellaini, Lingard to know how they feel to try to give us the help.

The way I see Paul is well, is very well, but we need the words with that small group to see if they can give us a hand. Its an important match tomorrow. Every point is important. We have to try the best with every player.
