Antonio Valencia has handed a boost to Jose Mourinho as he prepares to return to training with Manchester United.
The 33-year-old right-back flew out to the United States with the rest of Mourinhos squad but was forced to return home early after he limped out of the sides 3-1 victory over San Jose Earthquakes.
Valencia, who captained the Red Devils in Santa Clara, suffered a calf injury, leaving the field in only the 7th minute, and Mourinho criticised the Ecuadorians fitness levels after the match.
The full-back was given a full summer break following Ecuadors failure to qualify for the World Cup, but returned in questionable shape.

However, it appears Valencia is working his way back to full fitness and the defender posted an injury update on Instagram ahead of Uniteds clash with Bayern Munich.
