Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld is prepared to run down his contract and snub all other clubs in order to force a move to Manchester United.
Alderweireld, who only made 13 Premier League starts last season, is valued at £75million by Spurs and the north London club are refusing to lower their asking price for the 29-year-old defender.
This means United have been put off a potential deal and Alderweireld is now going to extreme lengths to join the Red Devils, with the Belgian desperate to play under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Alderweireld is tied into a contract until next June and Tottenham have the option to extend it by another year – but triggering this clause could see the centre-back leave for just £25m during a two-week period at the end of next summer.

According to The Daily Mirror, he is prepared to let this happen and is ready to reject all other interested clubs to seal a move to United.

The Belgium international confirmed earlier this week that he is set to return to the capital ahead of Spurs Premier League opener with Newcastle.
I will return to London this weekend for the start of pre-season with my club, he said.

United also held negotiations with Alderweireld last summer but Tottenhams valuation of the defender was too high.
The Red Devils have also been looking at Leicesters Harry Maguire and Barcelonas Yerry Mina as they scour the market for possible alternatives.

Asked about Uniteds interest in Maguire, Leicester boss Claude Puel said: Its not the thing to try to make trouble but I think hes a better player for us.
Its our intent to keep him and just a few days before the start of the season it would not be a good thing for the squad, for confidence and for Leicester football club.
