
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has criticised Antonio Valencia for returning from his holidays out of shape.
The 32-year-old made 39 appearances in all competitions for United last season and remains Mourinhos first-choice option at right-back.
Valencia was given the full summer to recover as Ecuador did not qualify for the World Cup.
But Mourinho is unhappy with the condition Valencia was in when he began pre-season training with United.
Valencia travelled to the United States for the clubs pre-season tour and even captained the team against Club America and San Jose Earthquakes.

But the defender is now set to miss the start of Uniteds Premier League campaign due to injury.

His condition was not good when he came back. Injury, and also has to go back.
