Long-time WWE fan Daniel Cormier became one of the most successful fighters in UFC history earlier this month when he became Heavyweight champion by knocking out Stipe Miocic.
Cormiers spectacular victory then set up an altercation with former UFC champion and current WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar, who entered the Octagon following the bout.

Lesnar challenged Cormier, who responded in turn, and the two fighters seemingly set up a future bout for the Heavyweight title.
Despite having never appeared in WWE, Cormier is by far the more popular of the two within the WWE locker room, having made friends with a number of talent throughout the years.

Lesnar, the highest paid wrestlers in WWE, has long been described as aloof with the other WWE wrestlers, and has barely appeared on WWE this year.
His disappearing acts have clearly irked Seth Rollins, who featured in a memorable match with Lesnar at Wrestlemania 32.
Rollins is one of the most popular stars in WWE, but has clearly made his mind up which camp he is in between Cormier and Lesnar.
Speaking to Instinct Culture, Cormier revealed the text message that Rollins had sent him following his win over Miocic.
Maybe thats why [Lesnars] mad at me because Im friends with Seth Rollins, Cormier said.
I got a text message from Seth right after the fight. He goes, congratulations now go kick Brocks ass. Thats what Im gonna do.

With Lesnar and Cormier scheduled to fight in early 2019, Lesnars next WWE appearance will be at Summerslam, where he will defend his Universal title against either Roman Reigns or Bobby Lashley.
