Reports suggest that Jesse Lingard led the insults both on the pitch and in the dressing room after discovering that Citys players had already booked tables at restaurants to celebrate a potential win.

However, in his programme notes for Uniteds clash with West Brom, Mourinho said: Winning a derby is always good.
We were happy with the result; however, we all behaved in a classy way and we respected our opponents sadness.

Mourinho claimed that United will be unable to compete financially with City this summer in the aftermath of their derby victory.
We are not going to spend more than we can, we are not going to do anything crazy, the Portuguese said.
Hopefully we finish second this season and then next time we can try and improve on that.
