An employee at NATOs Brussels headquarters has self-quarantined at home after testing positive for the coronavirus, a NATO spokesperson confirmed Monday.
The staffer had recently holidayed in northern Italy and was tested after developing a fever and “feeling unwell” at the end of last week, according to a statement on the alliances website.
Other staff who normally work closely with the employee “had been working from home at the end of last week and continue to do so.”
