An elderly tourist from China died from a coronavirus infection in a French hospital, becoming the first person to die from the illness in Europe, Frances health minister said today.
“I was informed last night of the death of an 80-year-old patient who was hospitalized … since January 25 and who had a pulmonary infection from the coronavirus,” Agnès Buzyn said in a statement.
