Louis Saha believes that Alexis Sanchezs move to Inter Milan represented a bad deal for Manchester United considering they are subsiding his mammoth wages during his time in Italy.
Following weeks of speculation, the 30-year-old finally sealed an exit from Old Trafford, joining Inter on loan until the end of the season where he will link up again with Romelu Lukaku.
Uniteds eagerness to shift Sanchez on is highlighted by their agreement to pay a reported £6m of his wages while he is playing for Inter, which equates to roughly a third of his annual wage.
While Saha admitted that Sanchez needed to move after losing his confidence and form at United, the Frenchman believes he still could have had a part to play this season.

Saha told YouTube channel Stadium Astro: Its a strange one. I think Alexis got to a point where his confidence dropped. The terms of the agreement show he needed to move.

Hes a great player with an abundance of skills and passion. But he couldnt deliver for United, so having a deal where United pays is a bad deal.
You would think he could remain there and help the side but mentally it was too exhausting.
Thats why he wanted to move – he didnt feel appreciated. It was really hard for him. The decision is not sustainable.
Despite allowing Sanchez to join Inter in a move that leaves United short of attacking options, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisted that the Chilean could still have a future with the club.
I am sure we will see Alexis back. We have just got to hope that he plays regular football for a year now and then he can find his form, he said.
