Jamie Carragher has claimed that Trent Alexander-Arnold can be deemed a truly world-class right-back if he starts scoring more goals for Liverpool.
Liverpool got a lucky break in the first half against Burnley at the weekend as an attempted cross from Alexander-Arnold looped in off an unfortunate Chris Wood in the 33rd minute at Turf Moor.
Goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino put Liverpool out of sight and Jurgen Klopps side held on to the win to maintain their 100 per cent record in the Premier League this term.
Carragher has been greatly impressed with Alexander-Arnolds start to the campaign but believes Liverpools full-backs can reach the next level by helping out in the goalscoring department.

Speaking about Alexander-Arnold following Liverpools win at Burnley, Carragher told Sky Sports: Yes, hes a completely different full-back to me. He actually said there were four or five world-class right-backs going for the England squad. He probably included himself in that and rightly so.
What he did [against Burnley] was he was a lot better defensively.
Jurgen Klopp said last week that Trent had a few problems at the start of the season, different things. Sometimes you forget how young he is, the level hes playing at and what hes achieved at this age now.
The one thing lacking from him and [Andy] Robertson is probably goals. We talk about their assists so often but you think of great goalscoring full-backs of the past.
He probably could do with getting a few more goals to maybe just take him up even higher.
He coped well with Dwight McNeil on that side, a lot of long balls, covering round. Thats something thats been aimed at him and hes come through with flying colours.
Liverpool recorded their first clean sheet of the season against Burnley and Alexander-Arnold admitted it was a relief to come away from Turf Moor without conceding at the weekend.
