Former Paris Saint-Germain defender Dani Alves says his next club will be signing a true champion this summer.
The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League and reports over the weekend claimed Arsenal had struck a deal with Alves to sign him on a free transfer.
While those reports remain unconfirmed, its believed Alves is open to a stint in England and he played under Unai Emery during his first season in Paris.
Alves is expected to confirm his new club in the next fortnight but the Brazilian says wherever he goes they will be signing a proven winner.
Now Im free, but I still have a lot to accomplish in my carreer, said Alves.
The only thing that I can say is that the club that sign me will sign a true champion.
