Pendlebury out with finger injury

Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury is expected to miss at least one game after having surgery on a finger injury.

The Magpies star reportedly hurt his left middle finger in the team's win over West Coast in Perth on Friday night but played out the match.

How long he remains out will depend on the speed of his recovery but he's understood to miss at least this Saturday's game against the Giants in Sydney.

The Pies then face an MCG blockbuster against Richmond the following Friday.
