South Africa captain Faf du Plessis believes either Australia or India will win the World Cup.
Defending champions Australia face hosts England for a place in the final on Thursday, two days after group leaders India take on New Zealand in the first semi-final encounter.
Many expected South Africa to challenge for a top-four spot but Du Plessis side could only finish seventh after winning three of their eight completed matches.
The Proteas finished on a high on Saturday, beating Australia in Manchester, and Du Plessis was asked who would go on to win the tournament following the match.

They are teams that win big games. I mean its hard to look past Australia and the success theyve had in winning World Cups. As hard as it is to say we want to compete with that.
The confidence that an Australian team comes into a World Cup with is like having an extra player in your team.
They have a tough game in the semi-final and would probably prefer to be playing New Zealand. But I would say either Australia or India.
