PSG have released a strongly-worded statement vowing to take appropriate action after Neymar failed to show up for the clubs first day of pre-season training.
The 27-year-old became the most expensive footballer in the world when he joined PSG from Barcelona for £222m in 2017, however, he has endured a difficult spell in France.
Neymar has made no secret of his desire to return to Barcelona this summer but PSG are adamant that he will remain in the French capital for the upcoming season.
The Ligue 1 champions had expected Neymar to return to training on Monday after he missed the Copa America due to an ankle injury but he was not in attendance.

A PSG statement read: On Monday 8 July Neymar da Silva Santos Junior was due to return to pre-season activities with the Paris Saint-Germain senior squad.
Paris Saint-Germain notes that Neymar Jr was not in attendance at the agreed time and place. This was without the clubs prior authorisation.
The club regrets this situation and will therefore take appropriate action.

Reports last month stated that Barcelona had agreed personal terms with Neymar and that the Brazilian was willing to take a considerable pay-cut in order to return to Camp Nou.
