Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu appears to have confirmed that Ousmane Dembele will remain at the club this summer amid strong interest from Liverpool.
The 22-year-old forward has struggled to live up to his £93million price tag after joining Barca from Borussia Dortmund in 2017, managing only 18 goals in 65 games for the La Liga champions.
Barcelona officials have been left incensed by Dembeles behavioural problems, with the Frenchman consistently turning up late for training sessions last season.
Reports claim Liverpool have made contact with Dembele over a potential move to Merseyside for the World Cup-winner, but Jurgen Klopp may have to look elsewhere for attacking reinforcements.

Despite Dembeles poor attitude in recent months, Barcelona are willing to hand him a lifeline and Bartomeu appears to have ruled out a switch for the France international this summer.
Dembele is young, talented, different, Bartomeu said at a press conference on Friday afternoon.
I consider him to be better than Neymar, he has a lot to grow and we want him to do it here.

Bartomeu also rubbished speculation that Philippe Coutinho could be set to leave the club after a difficult debut season for the Brazilian.
Dembele and Coutinho are are a fundamental part of the squad for the coach, Bartomeu added.
