Novak Djokovic says he didnt feel like doing his usual celebration after beating Denis Kudla in straight sets on Wednesday evening to progress to the third round of Wimbledon.
The world No.1 and defending champion overpowered his American opponent on Centre Court, winning 6-3 6-2 6-2 in just an hour and 33 minutes.
Djokovic is noted for his great big cup of love gesture to the crowd after his victories, but was rather more reserved at the All England Club, simply clenching his firt in the direction of his box and leaving.
Asked why he did not do the celebration, he explained: I didnt? Yeah. Well, I didnt – it was too late.
