Diamonds head coach Lisa Alexander admits there were some flaws to the side's combinations after beating out a combined NSW Swifts and Giants Netball team 99-76 across six terms on Wednesday.
The match was the team's last official practice game before heading to the UK next week for the World Cup in Liverpool, with Alexander keen to workshop the side's connections in attack.

"After yesterday, I would have said I am really pleased, but today shows us clearly weve got work to do," Alexander said. "We know we need to keep our heads down and work hard."
Midcourter Jamie-Lee Price dominated the centre throughout the match, while Alexander was quick to praise goal attack Stephanie Wood for her ability to read the space.

"Steph crafted our attack end and made the change-ups that we needed during the quarter just to keep the defence guessing," she said.
Alexander said she had settled on a starting seven for the World Cup after wednesday's match, having experimented heavily in the six-quarter contest.
"Some players coped well with all of those changes, and some others haven't coped quite as well," she said. "Thats up to us and to talk to those players and get those combinations going."
The Diamonds will look to integrate Gretel Tippett pushing into goal attack.
"Particularly just getting used to her timing and her elevation, but we will get there," Alexandar said. "I think just making sure we are taking care of all the details about being in front, and getting those loose balls, and making sure our talk is up as well."
