Former England captain Andrew Strauss does not expect Pakistan to reach the knockout stages of the World Cup but says the team can never be written off.
Having lost two of their first four World Cup fixtures, Pakistan essentially need to win their remaining five games to progress to the semi-finals.
Pakistan kick-started their campaign with a dismal defeat to West Indies but recovered well to beat favourites England.
Their third match, against Sri Lanka, was abandoned while they narrowly lost to defending champions Australia last time out.
