Liverpool have received a hero's welcome as they returned home from their Champions League triumph, with thousands of fans lining the streets and trying to get any vantage point possible as an open-top bus cruised the city's streets.
Saturday's 2-0 win over Tottenham in an all-English final in Madrid was the Reds' sixth in Europe's premier club competition.
Manager Jurgen Klopp and captain Jordan Henderson each had a hand on the trophy as they led the procession of smiling players off the plane following their arrival at John Lennon Airport on Sunday.
They later boarded a bus emblazoned with "Champions of Europe" on the front and sides for a victory parade through the fan-lined streets of the city.
