Investigators in the US have said that a boy claiming to have been kidnapped eight years ago is not missing Timmothy Pitzen.
The 14-year-old boy's DNA does not match that of the boy who vanished in Wisconsin during a trip with his mother in 2011.
Timmothy was six years old when his mother Amy Fry-Pitzen took him from school in Aurora, Illinois, and travelled to a zoo and water park in the neighbouring state.
Two days later, the boy's mother was found dead in a hotel room in Rockford, Illinois. Reports at the time said she had checked in alone and written a cryptic note that said her son was safe, but added: "You'll never find him."
Timmothy has not been seen since.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, the 14-year-old boy was found walking alone in Newport, Kentucky – around 500 miles (805km) from where Timmothy went missing.
He told authorities he had escaped kidnappers and "kept running across a bridge" into Kentucky.

But FBI officials in Kentucky and Ohio said DNA tests conducted at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital showed that the teenager is not Timmothy.
Louisville FBI Agent Tim Beam said: "A local investigation continues into this person's true identity.
"Law enforcement has not and will not forget Timmothy, and we hope to one day reunite him with his family.
"Unfortunately, that day will not be today."
