Liverpool are on the verge of signing United States star Christian Pulisic after Borussia Dortmund rejected a £35million bid from Arsenal, according to reports.
Pulisic, 20, has developed into a key player for Dortmund since breaking into the first-team in 2016.
The American winger has already made over 100 appearances for the German giants, with his performances leading to interest from a number of Premier League teams.
Chelsea have held interest in Pulisic for over a year, reportedly identifying the youngster as a top target if Eden Hazard departs for Real Madrid.

But, according to The Sun, Pulisic is set to sign a deal with Premier League leaders Liverpool and will become Jurgen Klopps first signing of the January transfer window.

It is claimed Arsenal recently made an approach for Pulisic, tabling an offer worth £35m for his services, but saw the bid knocked back by Dortmund.
Liverpools opening offer of £45m is closer to Dortmunds valuation of £50m and The Sun say Pulisic is expected to join the Anfield club next week.
Klopp is a knock admirer of the United States international and believes he can bolster his teams Premier League title push in the second-half of the season.

The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League, six points clear of Tottenham and seven ahead of faltering defending champions Manchester City.
As well as Klopp rating Pulisic highly, The Sun say Liverpools Boston-based owners are also keen to have a United States star join the club.
Pulisic, who has also been linked with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, only has 18 months left of his current contract and Dortmund are ready to cash in.
Klopps immediate attention, however, will be on a Premier League clash with Arsenal on Saturday. Five days later the Reds face Man City at the Etihad.
