Joe Cole questioned Chelsea goalscorer NGolo Kantes role against Manchester City while Rio Ferdinand labelled Kyle Walker a liability in unaired comments from Saturdays game.
The two former England internationals were in the BT Sport studio at Stamford Bridge for the top-of-the-table clash which Chelsea won 2-0 thanks to goals from Kante and David Luiz in each half.
One fan watching at home was given a surprise when his stream stayed in the studio, rather than go to an ad break, and Ferdinand and Cole did not hold back while they thought they were off-air.
While collating highlights of the first half, the pair were stunned to see Walker done for pace seconds before Chelseas opener as Willian bolted down the left wing.

Look at Kyle Walker sleeping! said Ferdinand. Thats Kyle Walker. Thats why for England, if he plays, hell always be a liability at the top level.

Cole agreed, chiming in: Yeah Im with you. Im not saying that though because his mate comes to the gym.
He continued: Everyone talks about this Man City team like theyre perfect. Theyre not perfect. They give you that. Theyll give you that quick attack, because Kyle Walkers playing like a winger.
Ferdinand added: You always know youre going to get an opportunity, but youve got be clinical like they have been today. If youve got the b*****s when youre on the ball.
Another clip showed Kante – who has been playing as the most advanced midfielder under Maurizio Sarri – caught napping as a City player darted in to win the ball, and Cole could be heard saying: No, look at that. Thats why Kante cant play there.
Kante was also robbed of possession in another clip, though Ferdinand was more unimpressed with Sterlings bad finishing as he dallied over taking his shot: A better player shifts that and bang, bottom corner.
