Cape Town – Orlando Pirates are in the Seychelles to take on Light Stars in their CAf Champions League preliminary round second-leg clash.
The Buccaneers defeated the Praslin island side 5-1 in South Africa in the first leg, and are anticipating a similarly one-side encounter this time around.
It will be a welcome boost for the Premiership team after they were held to a 0-0 draw with Maritzburg last time out, before taking on an in-form Baroka in the Telkom Knockout final on Saturday.
While Pirates might be expecting another rout, Stars head coach Ted Esther has suggested this will not be the case.
He told Soccer Laduma: "For us, it's not finished. My players had some problems to digest the environment the first day we came here (Johannesburg). I know we are going to try harder for Wednesdays match."
Pirates boss Milutin Sredojevic will not be in a forgiving mood for this second leg clash though after voicing his displeasure at the Marizburg draw, and will look to use this game as striking practice.
He told KickOff: "We did not get what we wanted to use this match as a preparation for the return leg in Seychelles and in the Telkom Knockout.
"We fired blanks in the last two matches but in other matches we have shown that we can score. The players are working in their confidence in finishing, the angle of positioning, the technique of finishing. We believe in times ahead of us we will show some significance."
