
Jofra Archer will be available for England selection in the new year under new ECB eligibility rules.
The Sussex bowler, who was born in Barbados, has an English father and holds a British passport.
Under previous ECB regulations Archer would not have been able to play for England until the winter of 2022, but the governing body has reduced the residency period to three years from January.
Archer has impressed for Sussex and in Twenty20 franchise competitions around the world.

He finished as the fifth leading wicket-taker in the last Big Bash League before being signed for over $1m by Rajasthan Royals for the 2018 IPL.
The update means Archer, 23, could feature in next summers World Cup which will be held in England.

Speaking to ESPNcricinfo, Morgan described Englands recent performances in white-ball cricket as mind-blowing.
Some of the cricket has been mind-blowing and thats full credit to the team, he said.
Weve tried to play in a certain way since 2015 and push the boundaries. We aspire to be the best versions of ourselves we can possibly be.
And it has worked, particularly with the batting. The bowling has progressed a lot over the last 18 months as well. Hopefully we can keep the momentum up until the World Cup.
