Huddersfield will look to address their shortcomings in attack by launching a loan move for Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke in January.
The 21-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance for Liverpool this season, with Roberto Firmino established as Jurgen Klopps leading striker and Daniel Sturridge back in favour after spending time on loan at West Brom last season.
Solanke has struggled to make much of an impression at Liverpool since his move from Chelsea in 2017, scoring just once in 27 appearances last season, on the final day of the season in a 4-0 win over Brighton at Anfield.
However, only six of Solankes appearances in a Liverpool shirt have come as a starter and he has been in good form for Englands U21s, scoring four times in matches against Italy and Denmark during the most recent international break.

Despite his good form for the Three Lions, Solanke looks unlikely to break into the Liverpool side anytime soon with Jurgen Klopp admitting that the youngster could be allowed to leave the club on a temporary basis when the transfer window re-opens.
Huddersfields 2-0 win over Wolves on Sunday lifted them up into 13th in the Premier League table but scoring goals remains a major issue for David Wagner with his side the joint-lowest scorers in the division alongside Crystal Palace with eight.
Not only that, none of Huddersfields strikers have found the net this season, with neither Steve Mounie nor Laurent Depoitre managing a goal in over 21 hours worth of play combined in the Premier League this season.
Solanke has also been tentatively linked with moves to Galatasaray and Rangers in recent weeks but Wagners excellent relationship with Klopp could see him make the move to west Yorkshire instead.
