Lorenzo Pellegrinis agent has rubbished rumours that the Roma star could be set for a move to Manchester United.
The 22-year-old midfielder has scored five goals in 49 appearances for Roma since arriving from Sassuolo in the summer of 2017, but is being heavily linked with United ahead of the January transfer window.
Reports in Italy suggest that United officials met up with Pellegrinis representative in London and offered to double the youngsters current £35,000-a-week basic salary.
Pellegrini has a €30million (£27m) release clause in his contract at the Stadio Olimpico and the Red Devils can activate it at any point in July.

However, asked about Uniteds interest, Pellegrinis agent, Giampiero Pocetta, told Corriere dello Sport: If I have to talk about Lorenzo right now the only thing I can talk about is his extraordinary form.
Hes getting what he deserves on the pitch, and the rumours about the transfer market have never distracted him nor disturbed him.

Pellegrini is only thinking about improving with and for Roma.
Manchester United? Im sorry that rumours have spread about financial aspects relating to him and his teammates, it doesnt matter for Lorenzo. He doesnt live for meetings, especially financial ones.
These issues dont count for now, its normal that Pellegrini is liked. Lorenzo is happy though, hes already chosen Roma once.
Then, when its time, well sit down with Monchi again.

Roma are desperate to keep hold of Pellegrini and are actively looking to remove the release clause in his contract.
This makes the situation more difficult for United who are on the hunt for midfield reinforcements, with both Ander Herrera and Juan Mata becoming free agents in the summer.
