UFC president Dana White has revealed he wants Daniel Cormier to fight Jon Jones for a third time at heavyweight.
Cormier has twice lost to Jones in the octagon, but the defeat in their 2017 rematch struck off as a no contest when his opponent failed a pre-fight drug test.
The heavyweight champion plans to retire in March, with Cormier insisting he wants one more fight before hanging up his gloves.

But White confirmed he is trying to convince Cormier to put off his retirement plans, as the UFC target completing the Jones-Cormier trilogy.
He told TMZ: Id like to see Jones and Cormier fight again at heavyweight.

Cormier will 40 years old on 20 March and does not want to continue fighting after that, and recently said he had no interest in facing Jones a third time.
The two-weight champion aims to fight Brock Lesnar at heavyweight in his final octagon appearance, but the UFC are yet to reach an agreement with the WWE star.
Jones is set to return from his latest drugs ban against Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 232 on 29 December.
The fight is a rematch of a classic 2013 showdown between the two light heavyweights, in which Gustafsson took exception to the judges scorecards.
