Brand new WWE Champion Daniel Bryan earned the opportunity to challenge Universal Champion Lesnar after beating AJ Styles on SmackDown last week, to set up a Champion vs Champion dream match.

Bryan looked cheeky and calm as he walked out to the ring, and taunted Lesnar before the bout began, as he presented his belt to the watching crowd.
Lesnar, whose last pay-per-view appearance in Saudi Arabia saw him destroy Braun Strowman in minutes, paced around the ring and was introduced at 265 pounds before the bell finally rang.

With a 100 pound weight difference, Lesnar definitely had a physical advantage, but Bryan quickly went to the legs of the former UFC heavyweight champion.
Bryan jogged outside the ring and smiled constantly, using timewasting tactics similar to a lower league football side in a key FA Cup match.
An attempted leg kick from Bryan was then checked by Lesnar, who smashed Bryan with a clothesline before smashing him with a German suplex.
More suplexes followed, as Lesnar followed his customary destructive tactics, including bearhugs and more suplexes.
Lesnar then hit his F5 finisher on Bryan, but lifted his rival off the canvas before a pin could be made.
Bryan then recovered to hit Lesnar with several kicks, before jumping out of an F5, kicking the referee, before giving Lesnar a low-blow and his flying knee finisher.
Lesnar was almost pinned, but kicked out at two-and-a-half as Bryan continued his own surprising attack, including another flying knee which led to a near-pin.
This was Bryans redemption, as he showed once again why hes considered one of the best wrestlers of all time.
His performance was sensational, as was Lesnars, who had his first truly competitive match in years.
