Former Blackburn and Celtic star Chris Sutton has labelled Jose Mourinho a big baby for his behaviour in the aftermath of Manchester Uniteds derby defeat.
Pep Guardiolas champions strolled to a 3-1 win at the Etihad to extend their lead over eighth-placed United to 12 points and Mourinho insisted that his players were still fatigued from their victory over Juventus.
In contrast, Mourinho claimed that Manchester City had played two friendly matches beforehand against Southampton and Shakhtar Donetsk in the Premier League and Champions League respectively.

However, Sutton believes Mourinhos comments are utter rubbish, emphasising instead the gulf in class between the two sides.

United were outclassed. It was like watching Manchester versus Manchester reserves, Sutton told BBC Radio 5 live.
There is an enormous gap between them and City, and things arent going to change unless they change the manager.

Mourinho made no secret of his desire to sign a central defender in the summer but Sutton sees no reason why Uniteds board would trust the Portuguese with more money in January.
