Jose Mourinho took a swipe at Antonio Valencia after confirming the defender has been ruled out of Manchester Uniteds clash against Bournemouth following an injury setback.
The 33-year-old has missed the last month of action with Mourinho confirming last week that he had a complicated surgery on his mouth.
United take on in-form Bournemouth on the south coast on Saturday and Mourinhos confirmed Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard are both fit.
However, the 55-year-old was not pleased with Antonio Valencias Instagram post on Thursday that was captioned work, work, work.
Antonio Valencia, I watched something funny in his Instagram where we says work, work, work in the gym, said Mourinho.
He should say work, work, work alone because Im injured and cannot train with the team.

So the reason why he was in the gym is because he is injured and he couldnt train with the team. So I think it looked like he was working really, really hard – and he was – but without the ball and without the team. So, you can imagine that tomorrow he is not selected because he is not read.

Mourinho confirmed that Marouane Fellaini and Diogo Dalot would also miss the clash and said that Uniteds week in training had been positive.
A very good week, said Mourinho.
We work tactically, we improve some fitness levels. We improve some of the players that were almost there but not there – Lingard, Alexis – these kind of players, that were already available but not yet at a good level. We trained with our kids too, mixed with us on one of the days, which is an amazing feeling for them. A good week.
