
A group of Manchester United stars refused to attend a commercial event on Thursday in protest at the clubs poor travel arrangements.
United were late to arrive to Old Trafford on Tuesday for their 1-0 Champions League defeat to Juventus and some squad members feel the travel arrangements affected their performance.
Mourinho was so angered at the traffic that he walked the final mile from Uniteds hotel to Old Trafford with supporters towards the Theatre of Dreams.
The club were fined earlier this month after their Champions League fixture against Valencia had to be delayed because the team coach was stuck in traffic in the Old Trafford area.
Each member of Uniteds squad is expected to attend a certain amount of sponsorship events a season but a group of as many as five players failed to show today, citing transport issues as an excuse say the Daily Mail.

Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, Lee Grant and Ashley Young attended a separate sponsorship event later in the day to promote Uniteds True Religion release on its launch night.

However, another disgruntled group were expected at Uniteds training ground but they failed to show up.
Mourinho is said to be keeping out of the issue but it doesnt reflect well on the players, management or board that such a disconnect is evident at Old Trafford.
