England and Wasps star Christian Wade has reportedly decided to abandon rugby union to embark on a career in the NFL.
Wade, 27, is third on the all-time list of leading try scorers in the Premiership, crossing over 82 times in 130 matches since his debut back in 2011, but it appears he has played his final match for Wasps.
Only Tom Varndell and Mark Cueto have scored more tries than Wade in the history of the competition.
According to Sportsmail, Wade has quit the Coventry-based outfit where he made his name before going on to make one appearance for England. Its rumoured that Wade has become disenchanted with the sport after failing to win more international caps.

While Wade was selected for the British and Irish Lions Tour to Australia in 2013, he has consistently been overlooked by England boss Eddie Jones despite his try-scoring exploits in the Premiership.
The rapid winger played five games for Wasps this season but failed to add to his sensational tally in the English top flight.

Asked about his failure to be selected in Jones recent England squads back in August, Wade said: The last time he spoke to me was…I cant remember now.
He was just telling me to keep scoring.

Were not really in contact. I dont think he rates me or Im not the type of player he wants in his team, so theres not really any need to stay in contact.
But thats all good. Ill enjoy my time at Wasps doing what I do, really. Thats the main thing.
