Disabled Surfers Association South West received a $10,000 boost from Westpac, which was one of 200 grants provided to community groups around Australia.
Disabled Surfers Association South West president Ant Pursell used the money to replace old rash vests worn by participants and volunteers at their events.
Mr Pursell said the vests they used had previously been donated to them by another branch and were wearing out.

He also used the money to ensure that every Disabled Surfing Association branch in Australia had a mat which made it easier to help surfers in wheelchairs.
Westpac Dunsborough branch manager Kirsten Naude said the grants were awarded to groups which helped disadvantaged people in the community.
