Billy Joe Saunders has reportedly failed a drugs test in the lead-up to his world middleweight title fight with Demetrius Andrade.
The 29-year-old Brit is scheduled to fight Andrade on October 20 at TD Garden in Boston but, according to ESPN, the bout is now likely to be cancelled.
Saunders returned a positive Voluntary Anti-Doping Association drug test for oxilofrine and the WBO champion could stripped of his 160-pound world title.

However, Saunders appeared untroubled by the rumours, laughing them off with a foul-mouthed message on Twitter.
“Some s***, he wrote with two crying laughing emojis.

The Hertfordshire-born boxer was recently fined £100,000 by the BBBofC for bringing the sport into disrepute after a sickening video was shared online.

After Saul Canelo Alvarez tested positive for clenbuterol before his fight with Gennady Golovkin, Saunders claimed the Mexican should receive a life-long ban from the sport.
I rated Canelo very highly but now hes gone down in my estimations so much. I dont rate him as a fighter at all, he said.
Even if he beat Golovkin (in the future), I wouldnt class him as beating him because I still look at him as a cheat.

I dont agree with what hes done. And I think its a disgrace for boxing.
You get these young fighters coming up now, theyre looking at Canelo, looking at what hes got and what hes become. Are they going to think we can do that, we can get away with a six-month ban??
When you see people like that enhancing their body to do more damage on someone, I think thats cheating and it should be a ban for life, most definitely.
