Jordan Henderson has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Liverpool, extending his seven-year stay at Anfield.
The Reds captain arrived from Sunderland back in 2011 and has made 283 appearances for the club thus far.
And the 28-year-old is set to add plenty more to that after he signed a lucrative new deal.
Im very happy to have signed a new contract for a long period of time, he said. Im absolutely delighted.
It doesnt seem like too long ago when I signed my first one – it feels like yesterday, really – but a lot has happened since then.
I feel its been a progressive journey for me throughout my time here and one Ive enjoyed so much.

There is no other place in the world I would rather play football. I want to be here for as long as I can be.
Im so privileged to have been a part of this club for so long, and hopefully even longer now.
