Brazil and Real Madrid legend Ronaldo has returned home after spending several days in hospital following a pneumonia scare in Ibiza.
The 41-year-old was rushed to Can Misses Hospital on the island on Friday evening, having arrived for a summer holiday before being discharged on Tuesday.
He has now posted a picture on Twitter of him giving a thumbs up and confirming his return to health, while thanking hospital staff and all those who sent him well wishes during his ordeal.

Ronaldo is regarded as one of the finest footballers of all time and broke the world transfer record twice before he was 21.

He scored 15 World Cup goals across four tournaments – winning the competition twice – and was a two-time winner of the Ballon dOr in 1997 and 2002.
Ronaldo enjoyed spells with PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Inter and AC Milan, Corinthians, Cruzeiro and Real Madrid before retiring in 2011.
