Paul Pogba has played down any notion of a row with Alexis Sanchez after the Chilean argued with the Manchester United skipper over penalty duties on Friday night.
The Red Devils kicked off the new Premier League season with a 2-1 win over Leicester City thanks to goals from both Pogba, inside the first three minutes, and full-back Luke Shaw late on.
But there was a moment of controversy in the match when Sanchez tried to grab the ball off Pogba before the penalty, though the World Cup winner insists he was within his rights to take the spot-kick.

Asked if United have a designated penalty taker by Sky Sports, Pogba explained: We dont really have one.
Even if the manager puts names but after its how we feel. I decided to take it, I was as well on the names.

But maybe in the next game I can leave it to Alexis, its not a problem. For me, its just the win that is most important.
Pogba had a rather unusual run-up for his penalty, taking a number of small steps before finally hitting the ball, and he admits it is a technique that could backfire.

He continued: Well, thats my style of taking penalties. Ive always done it. Its long, I know it can disturb the goalkeeper, but thats how I take it.
The most important thing is that it goes in, because if you miss it like this then I know what Ill hear afterwards!
