And it isn't just glory and the Wanamaker Trophy at stake at the 100th edition of the tournament – the winner also stands to pocket a cheque for $1.89m.
That is the same sum that Justin Thomas earned when he landed the title last year, with the total prize pot of $10.5m also unchanged.
