Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to offload the left-back for £22million and have been in talks with Wolves and Tottenham.
But, LEquipe claim United entered the race late on Thursday night in a bid to lure the 25-year-old to Manchester.

Kurzawa came in and out of the side last season and is prepared to leave the French champions in search of regular football.
United are desperate to complete a deal for a defender on deadline day, but were thought to be focusing all of their attention on a centre-back.


Jerome Boateng, Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire have all been linked with a late move to United and the Red Devils are reportedly in talks with all three players.

There are funds available for United to sign further players, but the club chiefs are determined not to spend over the odds.
The English transfer window closes at 5pm on Thursday, and United are in a race against time to sign any additional players.
United have completed three signings this summer already, Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk, Lee Grant from Stoke and Diogo Dalot from Porto.
