Manchester United are currently trying to fend off interest from Barcelona in midfield star Paul Pogba – and, unfortunately for the Red Devils, the transfer saga could continue long past Thursday.
The Frenchman has emerged as a late target for both Barca and Italian giants Juventus, with the two sides having been alerted to Pogbas supposed unhappiness at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho.
The two frequently clashed last season, arguing over Pogbas best position, while Mourinho put their relationship under further strain with some questionable comments about his midfielders performances at the World Cup.
Reports have since emerged that Pogba has told United chief Ed Woodward, as well as his teammates, that he wants to leave Old Trafford for Barcelona after the Catalans made a player-plus-cash offer worth around £100m.

United rejected the proposal, but Barcelona are expected to return with a bigger bid – and they have plenty of time to get a deal over the line…
Can Barcelona still sign Pogba after the Premier League deadline?
While Premier League clubs are scrambling around to complete any deals before Tuesdays 5pm BST transfer deadline, clubs across Europe can afford to be more patient.
It is only in England that the window shuts on August 9, with the rest of Europes top leagues free to continue signing players until Friday August 31 in over three weeks time.
The transfer deadline for English sides does not prevent clubs from selling players abroad after the deadline, meaning Barcelona can continue to tempt United – but the Red Devils wont be able to sign a replacement!
Rumours in Italy suggest Mourinho has tasked agent Jorge Mendes with setting up a deal for Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the event that United do decide to accept Barcas offer, but they only have around 24 hours to complete a deal.
