Maurizio Sarri has warned Chelsea fans that Callum Hudson-Odoi may not receive regular playing time this season.
The 17-year-old, who has been developed by Chelseas academy, has been one of the clubs standout stars of their pre-season campaign this summer.
Last week, reports claimed that Chelsea have offered the winger a five-year contract following a personal recommendation from Gianfranco Zola, who has returned to Stamford Bridge to work as Sarris assistant.
But after another dazzling performance against Inter on Saturday, Sarri admitted that Hudson-Odoi and Ethan Ampadu, who has also impressed during pre-season, may be used sparingly this term.
I dont know if they will play this season in the Premier League, Sarri said of Hudson-Odoi and Ampadu.
But I know that these names will be very famous in the next years.
