Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira will learn his fate for the 2018-19 season next week after talks with his agent, the Manchester Evening News understand.
The 22-year-old is destined to leave on loan after Lee Grant moved to Old Trafford from Stoke City on a two-year deal for a reported £1.5m.
Pereira will speak with his agent in Miami on Uniteds pre-season tour of the United States when a decision over his future will be made.

Since arriving in Manchester in 2012 he has had spells at Rochdale and Belenenses.
Sporting Lisbon have been linked with a move for the youngster, with a view to a permanent deal, but United are unwilling to consider a long-term arrangement.

Manager Jose Mourinho thinks highly of Pereira and has handed him three senior appearances for United during his spell in charge.
In the absence of David de Gea and Sergio Romero, Pereira has featured in the friendlies against Club America, San Jose Earthquakes and AC Milan this summer.
He even saved three penalties in the shoot-out win over the Serie A club to further enhance his reputation.
Last summer he was awarded a new four-year contract, with an option for a 12-month extension, and is being prepped as a United keeper of the future.
Following his outing against Milan Pereira promised to justify Mourinhos recent praise.
